Earning a Living and In Kind Giving
We need to be financially sustainable and engage in money making ventures. However money making ventures are not the main focus of this project. Money is an important enabler but not the main driver. Voluntary work and paid work both have value. As the Sarvodaya village project describes: generosity is the sharing of ones time, skills, goods and energy with ones community. The real objectives are to sustain ourselves so we can free up our time to be active in driving change.
Access to Funds
We need benefactors and supporters to make this work. We realise there are folk out there eager to see people working collectively to change the path society is heading in. Please contact us and donate funds to support our work. We can also make a presentation of the project to groups on request.
To set up larger camps, where pioneers are fed, clothed and trained in practical skills for months at a time we need initial seed funding to set up the infrastructure and a core trainer group.
