Social Movement Stories

Social Movement Stories to inspire and learn from…

If we look into to the past right up to the present day we find practical projects and social movements which we can learn from and apply to our current environmental problems. Starting from the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s, which was the birth of a new environmentalism in America. The Sarvodaya village movement founded in Sri Lanka in 1958 and more recently the Climate Camp operating between 2008-2012 in the UK.

Lastly the  story of Deassartation Trust, which is currently behind the 4 noble truths of climate change project.

  1. Right here is the right blog for everyone who
wishes to understand this topic. You understand so much its
almost tough to argue with you (not that I personally would
want to…HaHa). You certainly put a fresh spin on a subject that’s been discussed for years.
    Great stuff, just excellent!
